Quinta da Fonte Souto is the latest wine enterprise by Symington Estate Wines, marking the company's first presence outside the Douro region: this time on a property next to the beautiful Serra of São Mamede, in the very typical and characteristic Alto Alentejo. The brand contacted VOLTA Studio to create promotional material for their various ranges of wines produced: a premium pack for two bottles, a brochure, glorifiers and bags were designed. Inspired by the brand’s motto — at another pace — the designs were imbued with a sense of vastness, like Alentejo itself. In the packaging the “aerial view” of the vineyards present in the logo was used to portrait the immensity of the fields, by extending it across the whole surface of the pack. In the brochure, the typographic simplicity of the layout makes way for the images to spread, reflecting their silent mood. Colors and materials linked to the land and the brand, premium finishes and very characteristic textures were the differentiating factor of the materials created.
